August Favourites

So I've got a mixture of favourites, some beauty things and some random things. It's crazy how fast the year has gone, but I'm so excited for Autumn and Winter...huge blankets, sweatshirts, hot chocolates, the lot. But anyway, it's early days yet, so here's what I've been loving during August...

So I've finally put the Alpro Almond Milk in a favourites. I've been loving this for a lot longer than August, but for some reason it hasn't quite made the cut...until now. I've been using this every day with my cereal (*cough* Weetabix minis (so good) *cough*) and it tastes. so. good. I'm not a vegan or a strict healthy eater or anything, but this stuff is so good and I love almonds, so it's a win win for me.

I have a lot of love for the Blistex MedPlus Lip Balm. I've already got a full post about this product here, if you want to check it out, but the short story is that this stuff will be your absolute saviour as it gets colder...I promise. And it smells so good. It's menthol-y. And you'll just love it. That's all there is to say.

Then I've got my amazing The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash. I apply this most nights after I've taken off my make-up, and it feels so good and refreshing after you've washed it off. It's got a strong scent of tea tree (hence the name, nice one Maia...) that leaves your skin bright and just...wow.

The cute little wallet is from Paperchase, and it's called the All Change Pass Case. I've started college again now, and I travel by the train every day (ugh, so early...) and I wanted a cute new case to take my travel card in. Cue Paperchase and their cute little products, and I was sold. If you need school, college or university stuff, check out this place.

My nail varnish is definitely going to be my Autumn staple colour. It's Fishnet Stockings by Essie, and it's gorgeous. Essie polishes go on the nail really well, with one stroke covering the whole nail. I only need two coats of this and it's amazing. I do use the Essie All In One clear polish before applying all my polishes because I find it makes them last so much longer...it's a must.

I've fallen back in love with this Rimmel London Colour Rush Balm after finding it in the back of my make-up drawer a few weeks ago. This balm/lipstick is so easy to apply and it gives you a cute, neutral tint of colour (and that's coming from a girl who hates to wear lipstick) that I'm now re-obsessed with. I might have to go check out the other colours...

The Body Shop Eye-Lash Curlers are a must. These bad boys do the job and beyond. They curl your lashes, and they last all day and extra mascara applications throughout the day too. I love how springy they are and I even managed to convince Brook Dellar to get them too!

Lastly I have got my latest brush, it's the EcoTools Bamboo Tapered Brush, and I use it to apply blusher. I'm slowly building up an EcoTools collection, much to my Real Techniques Brushes annoyance, and I'm just loving how soft they are and how easy they are to apply and clean afterwards. If you haven't got your hands on one of these brushes, then you're missing out.
