The Simplest Skincare Routine Ever?

I always see YouTubers and bloggers posting their morning and evening skincare routines and think 'how do they have time to do that?', because I get so impatient with routines and when I come home from college and it gets late, the last thing I want to do is spend ages washing and cleansing and toning and moisturising...even though I wish I wanted to. But I'll be honest with myself, it simply isn't gonna' happen. So, I've come up with my own routine that is simply the quickest and easiest I've found...and it's so good for your skin.

I start off by using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Now, there is a lot of hype around this product, and I definitely understand why. Two cotton pads later and your face is make-up free, and it feels so fresh. This stuff feels so pure, like water, and I've noticed that I've had far less breakouts since this discovery. 10/10.

About three times a week, I'll use the Nivea Refreshing Facial Wash Gel. This stuff is amazing. You simply dampen your face, apply a layer of the gel and then wash it off again with warm water. And that's it! My skin feels soothed and fresh and spot-free, and you get that fresh skin feeling that leaves you ready to get out your night cream.

I use the Nivea Rich Regenerating Night Cream. There's just something about it that makes me repurchase it over and over. I must be on, what, my fourth tub? This creamy moisturiser blends into the skin amazingly, absorbing quickly but nourishing thoroughly. It's not greasy or thick, and you wake up the next day with gorgeous glowing skin. No complaints here.

This must be the simplest skincare routine...ever. I've tried to get away from the whole face-wipe thang as they're not that great for your skin, and changing to this has been no trouble. I'm even starting to get comments on how great my skin looks, so that must count for something, right?

  1. In the morning my skincare routine takes literally 30 seconds so I can invest time in my makeup which is more fun... At night I take a little bit more to use my Clarisonic and really make sure my skin is properly cleansed but in the end it takes just five minutes! Well, if this is working for you in the end it's what matters ;) xx
