Urban Decay Naked Basics - The Autumn Palette

I have a lot of love for this palette...and I mean a lot. I've had the Urban Decay Naked Basics for just under a month, and it's been my go-to eye shadow palette every day since I purchased it. Are you looking for a palette but maybe can't afford the excessive high prices of the other high-end palettes, like the Mac palettes and the bigger Naked palettes, but you want the same high quality? Look no further, your Autumn staple make-up product is here.

The Urban Decay Naked Basics is utter perfection. It's got all the colours you need, from the base nude to the extreme smoky eyed black. And the in-betweens? You can create a look for any occasion, and it'll be flawless every time. My absolute favourite colours are the W.O.S (third from the left), blended with Naked 2 (fourth from the left) in the crease, and you're ready to face the day. Who knew such a simple palette could create so many different looks? You want to take your day look into night, so you'll add some Faint (second from the right) in the outer corners. Want a bit of liner? Take Crave (last one on the right) and take your Real Techniques Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush and create a wow-factor flick. Add some Foxy (second from the left) under the eyes for an immediate brighten, and take Venus (first on the left) in the inner corners to make your eyes brighter. See? All the colours have been used, so you won't waste any!

This palette is my first Urban Decay product, and I'm loving it. I went for the cheaper option of their palettes before diving in the more expensive end and I honestly am impressed. They last all day, they don't crease, and I'm definitely going to splash out on the other larger palettes. Urban Decay, you did well...

  1. I love to start by using a taupe liner close to the lash line and then I do my look with this using just a sheer wash of the lightest colours and the browns in the crease. It adds something to it! You're right, the quality is there without the high prices ;) xx
