November Favourites

It's crazy how fast this year is going, and Christmas is getting closer and closer (and luckily I've finished my Christmas shopping because boy it's getting busy now), so here's a quick beauty round-up of the products I've been using the most this month.

So I've been keeping to a strict skincare routine in hope of sorting out my spot-prone skin. Twice a week, I've been using the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Mask for clearing up those blemishes, and I've definitely noticed a difference. Your skin feels exfoliated and fresh and looks pore-free. On the far right you can see I've paired it up with the Elemis FreshSkin Skin Clear Treatment Gel, which I use to dab on my blemishes after I've taken off my make-up. The difference after just two or three days is amazing, my spots/blemishes are visibly reduces and I've been using less make-up base-wise so it's an all-round winner. If you want to know about this product in more detail I wrote a post about it here.

On to make-up, the foundation I've been reaching for every day is the Revlon Colourstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin. Previously I used the Normal/Dry formula, but I've found that the consistency is so runny and I use so much more and it's just harder to work with. So when I tried this formula, it ticked all of the boxes. It makes your skin look glowing at natural, and the coverage sits right in the middle.

For mascara, the YSL Babydoll Mascara is the one for me. I noticed a huge difference jumping from drugstore to high-end make-up, and I don't know why I wasn't expecting it for the slight difference in price (let's not go there). Your eyelashes are curled, lifted, volumnized and lengthened, but the only issue is that I seem to be going through this stuff rather quickly (not so great). Finally I have a lot of love for my MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Modesty. I was looking for the perfect pinky nude and after discovering Velvet Teddy was out of stock (like always), I saw this more creamier colour that seems to go really well with my skin tone, and I've been wearing it practically every day.
