MINI ROOM TOUR SPRING 2016!

Happy Sunday! Seeing as it's the day for staying in bed all day, I thought I'd do my first ever room tour! It's only a mini version, showing you an overview of what's in my room, because it's still not completely how I'd like it to be!

So the picture above is my desk, I have the IKEA MALM Dressing Table, the standard beauty blogger's desk. I have my make-up separated with MUJI storage, and I have a real urge to go mad buying make-up right now so I'm having to restrain myself or this drawer is going to overflow.

I have two pots which are stuffed full with make-up brushes, I'm not sure how I collected so many. They look gross right now because they're due to be cleaned today (best task ever? Not so much). My brushes consist of Real Techniques, EcoTools, and various other unbranded brushes. I'm desperate to get my hands on the Bold Metals Real Techniques collection, or some Zoeva brushes, but I struggle to fork out so much money for brushes, I'll be honest. I did get a beauty blender (wow, calm down Maia don't get too out of control!), and that was one of the best decisions I've made.

This is my ceramic pug, it doesn't have a name as such, and it was a housewarming present from one of my oldest and bestest friends Brook (check her out at brookdellar.co.uk).

This is my favourite perfume that I want to wear everyday but I have to stop myself because it was expensive. It's the Balenciaga 10th Avenue George V Eau de Parfum, and it smells like Parma Violets.

At the moment I'm reading Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella, after seeing the recommendation from Zoella's February Favourites video. So far I'm really enjoying it, the story is interesting because you can learn about social anxiety and other disorders in a way you can relate to and understand better, even if it doesn't affect you in real life.

This is a little overview, as you can see my desk sits next to my bed. I have to use my desk as a 2-in-1 kinda thing because my room is on the smaller side, so I've got my desk lamp (IKEA), my books that I reach for the most (Alexa Chung, IT; Millie Mackintosh, Made; JoJo Moyes, Me Before You; Rainbow Rowell; Eleanor & Park and Helen Fielding, Bridget Jones's Diary). I also have a little photo above my bed which my little brother made for me, it's a Star Wars scene, can you see?

Under my desk I keep my daily skincare and my fake tan. I use three Vichy products almost every day (I reviewed them here), but the Korres Sensitive Sage & Salicylic Acid Regulating Gel for Oily Skin is also amazing.

My bed is by the window, tucked in the corner of my room. I can't remember where the grey bedding is from, but I know the yellow throw and fluffy square cushion is from Next, the white fluffy blanket is from Dunelm Mill, my dog cushion and heart cushion is from Primark, and the two grey knitted cushions are from TK Maxx.

At the end of my bed are my bags that I reach for most of the time. The mustard yellow bag is from Topshop, the brown shoulder tote is from Zara, and the black gold-studded cross-body bag is from Ted Baker.

My huge floor mirror is from IKEA, it's amazing and I think it was under £100 which is so impressive!

These are my chest of drawers, they are the IKEA MALM chest of 4 drawers. Above I keep my GHD's (the bigger ones because my hair is super thick), my little mirror from Next, a candle from Homebase, four cans of Malibu(?), and my TV.

This is my 'wardrobe'. It's a IKEA clothes rail and I think it fits in nicely with my room if I'm honest. I do need to have a serious clear out of all my clothes however, I've got so much that I haven't worn in months.

Finally, underneath I keep a few of my shoes. This changes regularly depending on if I take my shoes off upstairs etc, so there's really no order to them except I keep most of my heels at the back because I wear them less. (PS. Don't my Converse trainers look gross! Oh dear).

So there you go. I need to add a few more bits as yet so maybe in six months or so I'll give you all a little update! I hope you all have a lovely Sunday.
