5 SPRING OUTFITS (FLATLAY-STYLE)

So I love grabbing some fashion inspiration as much as the next fashion/beauty blogger, but for me I have one issue when it comes to sharing my outfit ideas: I hate modelling. I'm awkward, I don't know what to do with any part of my body and I'm just generally not the most confident/comfortable girl when it comes to being in front of the camera. So these are my chosen outfits, flatlay style.

THE STATEMENT SKIRT

So my first Spring outfit is all about the skirt. I love leopard print in general, and I think it can look really pretty when paired with simple, staple pieces. I've paired my Topshop Leopard Print Skirt (they don't offer this particular skirt anymore but you can buy a similar one from Motel Rocks here) with a black high neck vest from H&M and my favourite black patent Zara loafers. I love this outfit combo, it's so simple but you still look put-together and ready to go.

THE T-SHIRT DRESS

For the ones who value comfort as highly as looking the part. This oversized striped t-shirt dress from H&M is one of my favourites pieces in my wardrobe at the moment. It's ridiculously comfortable, and it's also extremely versatile. If it's a colder Spring day (which is a common occurrence in England that's for sure) then you can add wooly tights and a knitted jumper, or if it's warmer you can ditch the tights and add a bomber jacket. Obviously to go with this relaxed look, I added my well-loved white Converse All Stars.

THE GREY EDIT

I'll admit, it's a mission getting me to stray from black, white and grey clothes. They're the colours I feel most comfortable in, and I love how easy they are to work with if I want to add bright shoes or a statement bag, for example. This oversize striped Zara tee is a favourite that I keep going back to, whatever the season. Pair that with my grey River Island Molly Jeans and I love the grey-on-grey look. I'd pair these with either white trainers, like Adidas Originals, or brown loafers.

THE CUTE, BUT NOT TOO CUTE, COMBO

Now I love to look cute. I'm 5'1, and I enjoy playing up to that. But sometimes, I like to add an edge to my cuteness - a 'who's that girl' kinda vibe, you know? So here I've got: a cute Petite Topshop Skirt, some cute ASOS lace-up pumps, an edgy black New Look Bomber Jacket, and added some colour with an orange-y high neck vest from ASOS.

THE SMART TROUSERS

Now I'm obsessed with these trousers. They're the navy Pinstripe Paperbag Trousers from Topshop. I love the fit of these, they're relaxed and super comfortable, but you can look so smart and mature if you pair them with a blouse. I wear them to business meetings as well as weekend shopping trips, they're that versatile. On this occasion I've dressed them down with a slouchy grey Zara v-neck tee. Tuck in your tee at the front and you've mastered the art of smart-casual.

Which outfit is your favourite?
