SPRING PICK: THE TOO FACED SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE BAR PALETTE

I love new make-up!! Especially make-up that smells like chocolate!! This is the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette, and if you haven't heard of it well...there is no 'well', you will have definitely heard of this palette. Here is a blog post where I literally hype the s*** out of a product (and you'll know that me doing so is a frequent occurrence around these parts).

I have never tried one of the Naked palettes. You know, the original Naked palette, the Naked 2 and 3, and Naked Smoky palettes that are beauty blogger staples? Yeah, well I don't have any of them. I mean I have the Naked Basics palette, which is one of my all-time favourites, but I never splurged on the larger palettes despite the impressive quality of them.

Whenever I have the opportunity to purchase one of those go-to eyeshadow palettes, I always end up walking out of the store with another. It happened with my Stila Eyes Are The Window Palette in Spirit, and it's gone and happened again. This time it's with this gorgeous Too Faced palette, and I'm so glad I chose this palette over the Naked ones (I will get round to getting one eventually).

Look at those colours. Mmmmmmmm. Good enough to eat, right? Sorry, I'm all over the place with these puns. I'm loving this palette so far. The options for looks are endless, I can literally create anything - from a lazy work day eye to a night-on-the-town smoky look. And don't you think it just screams 'Spring has Sprung'? My favourite combination so far is a Peanut Butter base with a bit of Caramel in the crease, and some Butter Pecan highlighting on my brow bone and in the inner corner of my eyes. Aren't the names so cute, by the way?

I've found that I'm reaching for this palette most days at the moment, just because it's so beautiful that I want to use it even if I don't need to. The other day I put a little Butter Pecan down my nose for some 'strobing', I'm that obsessed.

I advise you all to try this palette, it provides you with every colour you need (even a blue for when you're feeling adventurous!) and they are fabulously pigmented. ALTHOUGH, the pinks aren't so pigmented, and I feel like I have to build those up more than the others - I'm not sure why that is? But overall, it's worth the extra effort because they're such darn pretty colours. The staying power of the colours are insane too, and they're so easy to build up and blend with a fluffy blending brush.

Ps. It's always a bonus when they include a matte black, am I right?
