So work had me swamped for the last couple of weeks but now I'm back and presenting you a very very cute make-up combo to try. For me, Spring is the time to bring out every Pink-ish make-up product I own to create a pretty, summery look. But I'm also always in a rush, so I thought I'd combine the two?

I love dewy skin in the warmer weather, so I mix my foundation with a brightening primer. Recently I've been reaching for my L'Oreal True Match Foundation and mixing it with the Benefit "That Gal" Brightening Primer. I've found that the primer isn't too glowy and OTT, but it brings me more of a 'healthy glow', and it makes the foundation less cakey too (perfect for the warmer days - yes they are actually a thing in England...occasionally). Confession time - I've been using my new L'Oreal Lumi Magique Highlighting Pen as a concealer for almost a month now, completely unaware that it wasn't even a concealer (a. Should have read the label b. Should have known as the coverage was awful), but anyway I still use this under my eyes and it totally brightens up my whole face...I LOVE IT.

For powering my face I use a bit of the Mac Studio Fix Powder, but then we get onto the more exciting beauty products. For blush, I use the hot pink shade from my Gwen Stefani x Urban Decay Cheek Palette, called Cherry. It's such a badass colour, I'm obsessed. I'm not normally a Barbie-pink kinda' girl, but using this colour in moderation is so so pretty. I then highlight with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Riviera because of the gorgeous pink tones shimmering through.

For eyes I'm testing my Makeup Revolution Salvation Eyeshadow Palette in What You Waiting For? Using the matte pink and shimmery one above it (the ones near the middle, you see?). I got this the same time as my Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette, but have been reaching for the Too Faced one more often so I thought I'd try to branch out a little more. These colours are gorgeously pigmented and I recommend the Makeup Revolution Palettes to anyone, they're amazing value for money.

Benefit "High Brow" gives my eyebrows a gorgeous, highlighted, sharp shape at the tips, and I also take this pencil down my nose and on my cupid's bow for extra highlight (you can never have too much!). I feel like this product is massively underrated, the pigmentation is amazing, one swoop and you're pretty much there so this product lasts me FOREVER (note: I've had this one since October last year).

For lips I've kept it simple with the Benefit Posiebalm Pink Lip Balm. It's a tinted lip balm and it's as gorgeous as it is nourishing. I'm not a lipstick person really (although I am trying to be) so for me this is the safe option to a Barbie-pink lip and I'm totally ok with that.

So there's my super simple Spring/Summer pink make-up look idea! If you think it sounds too pink, don't worry - it's really not, it's just right!
