At the beginning of the month I put myself on a spending ban on all things unnecessary, mainly because I need to save money for Christmas. I made a list and everything; including luxury makeup, handbags and shoes - all a no-go. However, I lasted 18 days; I watched way too many beauty hauls and went into way too many beauty departments for my own good.

This is my current beauty wishlist, comprising of six key products I'm totally swooning after, but could never justify buying myself (not that that's ever stopped me before, *sighs*).

Urban Decay Ultimate Basics Palette - £38.50
12 matte neutral shades, ranging from cool tones to warm. Swoon. Day-to-day, I always grab my Urban Decay Basics palette (the original), so to discover that there is a 12-shade version is making me very happy (I'm under the impression that this product is new to the UK?). It's priced the same as the classic 12-shade Urban Decay palettes - and we all know how beautifully pigmented and amazingly easy those eyeshadows blend - therefore this is a must-have addition to my beauty wishlist.

Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Eye Metal in Bitter Clove - £36.00
This product is not for the faint-hearted. Look at the glitter! Rumour has it that the pigmentation of this product is next level, so a little will go a long way (does that justify the price, though? I would be living on beans on toast all month). My love for bronze products is taken a step further with this product; although it's unlikely that I'd wear this to work, adding a little of this pigment over a neutral matte eye will instantly take you from day to night.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation - £29.50
Normally I'm a light-coverage kinda' girl, keeping it sheer and adding a little concealer. But you know what, sometimes you just need that extra coverage. I do get a little redness in the morning, some days being worse than others, the latter meaning that a light coverage foundation just won't cut it. The only reason why I haven't tried this yet is because I haven't been colour matched, as up until recently there haven't been any stores that have stocked Charlotte Tilbury. So many people have been raving about the 'magic' of this foundation, so I'm excited to try it.

Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lip Kit - Kristen - $29.00
I don't own a single Kylie Lip Kit, nope, not a single one. I was never overly bothered about trying to get a Lip Kit when they were first released, but now that things have settled down I definitely want to test a few out. I'm pale, so I'm not entirely sure which colours will suit me the best; however this pink shade looks so pretty and I'm pretty sure that it would work well with my skin tone.

Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Java Sun Bronzer - £48.00
Another of Estee Lauder and Victoria Beckham's collaboration has made the edit. This time it's the bronzer, a warm matte shade inspired by the 'light, spirit and energy of L.A.'. Personally, I've never been to L.A.; so why not bring L.A. to me? With my face being more on the round side, I love experimenting with different bronzers and defining my cheekbones. I also love warm-toned bronzers, as I feel like they compliment my pale skin tone better and aren't as harsh as other cool-toned products. I'm in love.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Gleam - £39.00
Classic Maia, always late on the bandwagon for every major product release. I eventually got there with this palette; and oh my isn't it pretty. I've seen hundreds of swatches for these beautiful palettes already, so I am fully aware that I need to make the purchase. Again, I feel like the peachy pink tones of this version will suit my skin tone, so it's more of a 'when will I purchase this?' rather than 'should I purchase this?'.

Which beauty products are you pining after right now?

Maia xx
